The Covers consist of two layers of biodegradable cardboard. The cardstock is colored in the pulp and is manufactured in the UK from 100% EFC pulp (Elementally Chlorine-Free). Since this board is manufactured with eco-friendly colors, it therefore carries one of the highest German Ecolabel "Blue Angel". A matte rough surface in combination with a high stiffness give this cardboard a special character. It holds the FSC Mark.
The Inside is printed on CO2 neutral paper. The Environmentally Friendly Luxury creamy white premium paper from Sweden has a matte finish and extra volume. For the generation of this 240g strong quality paper, 30% recycling pulp fibers are used. The electricity comes from from wind turbines. This paper holds the FSC Mark, the Green Seal and the PEFC seal. It is also acid-free and thus well suited for archiving!
The rubber bands made of natural rubber in red and Natural: rubber (Indian. cao = tree and ochu = tear) is included in the milky juice (latex) of tropical plants and is obtained mainly from the rubber tree. Natural Rubber is based on renewable raw materials and is therefore environmentally friendly. Furthermore, it is non-toxic and even compostable.
The colored TPE rubber bands: TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) the composition used here has a good UV stability. Also the TPE rings are water-resistant and resistant to most chemicals. They are colored in a non-toxic way and they look good.

Die Rohstoffe von LESS THINGZ schonen die Ressourcen:
Der Umschlag besteht aus zwei Lagen biologisch abbaubarem Karton. Der Karton ist in der Masse durchgefärbt und wird zu 100% aus ECF Zellstoff (elementar-chlorfrei-gebleicht) in Großbritannien hergestellt. Da dieser Karton auch mit umweltfreundlichen Farben gefärbt wird, trägt er eines der höchsten deutschen Umweltzeichen den „Blauen Engel“. Eine matt griffige Oberfläche in Kombination mit einer hohen Steifigkeit geben diesem Karton einen besonderen Charakter. Der Karton ist FSC zertifiziert.
Der Innenteil ist auf CO2 neutral hergestelltem Papier gedruckt. Das Umweltschonende exklusive cremeweiße Premiumpapier aus Schweden hat eine matte Oberfläche und extra Volumen. Für die Erzeugung dieses 240g starken Papieres werden 30% hochwertige Recycling Zellstofffasern verwendet. Der Strom wird aus Windrädern gewonnen. Dieses Papier ist mit dem FSC Zeichen, dem Green Seal und dem PEFC Siegel ausgezeichnet. Es ist ausserdem säurefrei und damit auch für die Archivierung gut geeignet!
Die Gummibänder aus Naturkautschuk in Rot und Naturbelassen: Kautschuk (indian. cao=Baum und ochu=Träne) ist im Milchsaft (Latex) tropischer Pflanzen enthalten und wird hauptsächlich aus dem Kautschukbaum gewonnen. Kautschuk basiert auf nachwachsenden Rohstoffen und ist daher umweltfreundlich. Weiterhin ist er ungiftig und sogar kompostierbar.
Die Bunten TPE Gummibänder: TPE (Thermoplastisches Elastomer) hat in der hier verwendeten Zusammensetzung eine gute UV-Stabilität, außerdem sind die TPE-Ringe wasserbeständig und resistent gegen die meisten Chemikalien. Sie sind ungiftig gefärbt und sie sehen gut aus.
Gutes Design ist nachhaltig. LESS THINGZ sind Dinge, die dazu gestaltet sind, um für lange Zeit Nutzen zu stiften und Freude zu bereiten.
